Police have arrested two men on the charge of raping 16-year-old teen who is mentally ill on May 20 at Buniyad Tol, Parawanipur rural municipality-1, Bara.
According to Inspector Ranjit Singh Rothor, Ram Ayodhya Mandal, 30, and his friend whose identify was not disclosed by the police, were returning back to home from Prasauni Village where they meet a mentally ill teen who was walking on the road near Buniyad Village. They took her to a bamboo forest and raped her. Locals caught one of the accused while the other one managed to flee, he added.
Both victim and accused's medical examination was held at District hospital, Kalaiya. The victim's identity cannot be revealed due to her illness so, she has sent to Manav Sewa Ashram at Birjung.
