Netra Bikram Chand-led group torched two motorcycles in Kalikot on Monday citing defiance of the general strike called by the group. Chand cadres set the two motorcycles at Kalekhola of Kalikot in Karnali highway. The vehicles were heading towards Surkhet.

Karnali Buro in-charge of Chand affiliated Youth Federation Nepal, Sital Bista said the group's cadres torched motorcycles bearing plate numbers Bhe 8 pa 358 and Bhe 7 Pa 4857 for defying the general strike called by the group.

DSP Binod Sharma of District Police Office said police had tightened the security of the district keeping in view Chand cadres' activities.
