Cadres of Chand-led group tried to attack police in Kalikot on Monday. The Chand-cadres tried threw stones at a group of a police team lead by inspector Devendra Kumar Malla which was returning from the site where Chand cadres had torched a motorcycle.

Karnali Buro in-charge of Chand-led group's youth wing Sital Bista said, they threw stones at the police team which was acting as a government agent. He also said that they attacked the police team in retaliation for arrests and killings of Chand cadres.
