A person sustained serious injury during a clash in Mahottari. Surendra Yadav of Samsi rural municipality-4 Garahabhetpur was seriously injured during a dispute over sewage with Lalbabu Yadav of the same place. 

According to Ajay Kumar Yadav, chairperson of the ward, Lalbabu's group attacked Surendra by going to his home. They also robbed valuables from Surendra's home during the incident. Surendra has sustained a deep cut on his head after being attacked with a sharp weapon in the incident.  Surendra's wife Ramshila Yadav also sustained an injury in the attack. Both of them are undergoing treatment in Janakpur.
