Cadres of Chand-led group have thrashed 31-year-old Buddhi Shahi and 29-year-old Naresh Shahi for pressuring the administration of a school in  Bheri municipality-7 Jajarkot to be opened during a bandh called by the group.

According to Buddhi, a group bearing weapons led by Chand cadre Khadak Singh beat him and Naresh on May 27 evening citing that they disobeyed the bandh called by the group.

Both Buddhi and Naresh sustained minor injuries in the attack by the group of around 12 men, informed DSP Shyam Bahadur Khatri. They lodged a complaint at District Police Office Jajarkot following the incident on May 27.
