Police on Thursday arrested 24-year-old, Bishal Magar permanent resident of Nawalpur, Sarlahi and currently living at Kathmandu metropolitan-32 on the charge of injuring 21-year-old Nima Sherpa permanent resident of Dholakha and currently living at Baudha, Kathmandu in a Khukuri attack.
Police from Metropolitan Police Circle Koteshwor arrested Magar after they were reported that 4 persons including Magar had attacked Sherpa with khukuri at SOS mode of Koteshwor.
Sherpa who sustained serious injuries in the attack has been taken to Civil Hospital, Minbhawan for treatment. Police are searching for the absconding assailants and are further investigating the incident.
