Special team of Metropolitan Police Premises has arrested local gangster Sudip Gurung from Lajimpat. Gurung was arrested on the charge of stabbing a knife to 32-year-old contractor Tasi Sherpa at Thamel, Guarkopakha on May 25.
The spokesperson of the Metropolitan police circle, DSP Hobendra Bogati, testified the arrest of Gurung. There are 13 complaints lodged against him with multiple cases of murder and theft.
According to the police, Gurung was arrested a year ago by the police for allegedly collecting money showing fake pistols from businessmen and hotel entrepreneur in the new bus park, Samkhusi, and Basundhara area.
Police are further investigating the case of Gurung.
