12 youths burnt Ncell's SIM cards on Wednesday in Kawasotias in a symbolic protest to boycott Ncell accusing it of not paying a tax of more than Rs. 40 billion it owed to Nepal Government.
As an initiation of Ncell boycott campaign, they burnt the SIMs and staged protest carrying placards with slogan " No Tax No Ncell ".
After the announcement of Supreme Court, Nepal Government's Larger Taxpayer Office that has written a letter to Ncell saying it has to pay the tax of about Rs. 40 billion within 7 days. On the seventh day, Ncell has issued another case in Supreme Court.
