Rasuwa, Ghaiteko abasta swasthe chintajanak. Rasuwa/November 24 The condition of UML Dhaibung Village Committee chairperson Chiranjivi Paudel, 64, of Jibijibe, Dhaibung VDC-9 has remained critical. He was attacked by the cadres of UCPN-M at his home on November 17 at around 11 pm. Along with Paudel, his son Sanu Paudel, Dev Prasad Paudel, Netra Prasad Paudel and local Arjun Prasad Paudel while they were sleeping at his home. They were assaulted by a group of about 35 UCPN-M cadres carrying rods, khukuri and spears. UML said that a complaint had been filed against 25 UCPN-M cadres including local Narayan Devkota and Arjun Devkota but police had not arrested anyone till now. Chiranjivi is undergoing treatment at ICU of Green City Hospital in Basundhara, Kathmandu, Sanu Paudel informed. Another injured Arjun’s hand was broken while other three have returned home after treatment at Nuwakot Panchakanya Community Hospital.
