Police have arrested Suraj Chand and Prem Singh on the charge of a violent attack on Dharmaraj Joshi, CPN-UML affiliated ANNISU president of Janajyoti Multiple Campus's during the farewell program of grade 12.
Joshi's right leg was fractured in the duo's attack. He also sustained a serious injury on his eye. Doctors operated his leg and he is undergoing further treatment at the hospital.
According to DSP Gyan Bahadur Bista, a group led by the arrested youths who are both students of Janajyoti Multiple Campus attacked Joshi after they ran into a dispute with him about taking photographs on the stage.
