An excavator belonging to Sovit Niraula, ward chairperson of Pakhribas-4, Dhankuta was vandalized on Saturday night. According to Niraula, one side mirror and handle of both sides of the excavator have been broken.
Area Police Office Pakhribas arrested three persons on suspicion of involvement in the incident. 34-year-old, Chatragopal Dahal of Chhathar Jorpati Rural Municipality-6 of Therathum, 20-year-old Bijay Kuwar and 18-year-old Sangam Rai of Aamchowk Rural Municipality-6, Bhojpur were arrested. They confessed that they vandalized the excavator when they were drunk. According to SP Surendra Bahadur Gurung, they were sent to District Police Office of Dhankuta for further investigation.
