Khotang/November 2 Police have freed seven cadres of CPN-M arrested on the charge of begin in the anti-election activity has been reelased on November 23 following the order of District Administration Office. The arrested cadres Devi Prasad Rijal, 54, district joint-secretary, Rajendra Rai the secretariat member and district member Suryadhan Tamang were released on the order of CDO Deepak Raj Nepal following the conclusion of vote counting. They were all arrested on November 4. Other released cadres included Prem Katuwal, Prabachan Rai, Ganesh Ghimire and Tikaram Rai (Bartaman). DSP Govinda Kumar Shah said that the cadres were arrested because of their anti-election activity and were released without any condition once the election was over.
