Police arrested the man accused of assaulting father

Police, on July 15, arrested 40-year-old Bhim Bahadur Roka on the charge of assaulting 67-year-old father Aaitu Roka of Mangala Rural Municipality-3, Jhakrepani. The locals had informed police of the attack on Aaitu at around 11 pm on July 14, when he was asleep. Injured Aaitu has been referred to Pokhara after the treatment was not possible in Beni, said DSP Mahendra Marasaini of Myagdi District Police Office.
