Kathmandu incharge of Chand-led CPN arrested

Kathmandu district incharge of Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN has been arrested.
Dhirendraa Upadhyay has been arrested from Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu Tuesday afternoon, a police source told Setopati. But her arrest has yet to be officially announced.
She was arrested by a joint team of Metropolitan Police Range, Metropolitan Police Crime Division and Special Bureau, according to the source.
Police had recently arrested Kathmandu Valley incharge of the party Maila Lama.
The government banned activities of Chand’s party in March and has since arrested over 600 cadres and leaders.
