A Ncell tower in Beni Municipality-2 caught fire on Wednesday night. Inspector Ram Prashad Pande who reached the site of the incident informed that battery and generators were found damaged from the arson. He also stated that police were investigating to determine whether the fire started due to a technical accident or was set by someone.
A blast was heard at around 10 p.m in Beni bazar. The police, however, does not substantiate the blast in the tower.
