Kapilbastu/November 8 District Chairperson of RPP and poll candidate from constituency no. 2 Rajesh Singh has threatened to kill Chief Editor Bhesh Raj Pandey, Editor Nandra Ram Poudel and news reporter Satish Upadhyaya of Buddha Aawaz Weekly on November 7 on charge of publishing news against his party. According to Upadhyaya, Singh issued the threat over phone for writing news about 300 cadres joining UML from RPP. Updhyaya said that a group of 25-30 people had picketed the his house threatening to kill him if he did not correct the news within an hour. The group had left the place after police told them that actions would be taken if they mistreated him. He had informed the Chief District Officer Krishna Chandra Ghimire and Police Chief Rabindra Prasad Sharma about the incident after which the group had returned. Upadhyaya had left the house in the night feeling unsafe.
