A group on Wednesday night torched a fire at the Ncell tower in Jorayal rural municipality-1 Goganponi Katouchthala of Doti. According to Lal Bahadur Dhami, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Doti, the group torched the tower by entering the wired compound of the tower by breaking the padlock at the gate.

Various cables used to operate the system from Ghazni, including BTS boxes, battery boxes, SCDP channels, were destroyed by the fire, police said. Locals said that Ncell's network was shut down in the area after the fire. Police are looking for the perpetrators.
