Ncell towers torched at 3 places in Dhading

Unidentified group set fire to 3 Ncell towers in different places of Dhading on Wednesday night, according to District Police Office Dhading.
According to police a Ncell tower at Kumpurdanda in Siddhelek rural municipality-6 was set on fire around 11:00 pm. Similarly, two other towers at Dhunibesi municipality-4 Jiwanpur and Thakre rural municipality-3 Jurethum were torched around 1:00 pm. Generator, battery, and wires were completely damaged due to the fire in Jiwanpur whereas the fire in Thakre burned optical cables, wire and 12 solar panels according to DSP Rupak Khadka of District Police Office Dhading.
Police are investigating to establish the motive and identity of the perpetrators. Police suspect the fires could have been set by Netra Bikram Chand-led group who in the past engaged in similar activities.
