A woman who had jumped to Narayani River to commit suicide has been rescued by locals. 24-year-old Sudha Biswakarma tried to commit suicide by jumping into the Narayani River, along with her two children, from the Vinay Triveni Rural Municipality-7 of Chata market Barrage Bridge in Nawalparasi district. 2.5-year-old Abinath Biswakarma and 1.5-month-old daughter Nikita Biswakarma have died in the incident.
Police Inspector Rajendra Adhikari of the District Police Office, Nawalparasi, said that Mother Sudha Biswakarma is under police control. Further investigation into the incident is underway, said a police inspector Adhikari.
