Jit Bahadur Gurung, 58 of Nerpa8 has died as he could not receive treatment on time and health worker at local health did suggest him properly.

Gurung, who had been suffering from pneumonia for some days, died as his condition deteriorated at Olchhedhunga of Diktel4 on February 5, family members said, adding that they were taking him to the district headquarters for treatment.

Gurung died as Maternity Health Worker at local health post could not give him appropriate suggestion in the absence of assistant health worker, family of the victim said.

Meena Rai, Maternity Health Worker at the health post has been treating patients as assistant health worker, Prakash Ghimire has been transferred, locals said, adding that post of rural health worker at the health post is also vacant.
