Police recovered a dead body of 53-year-old Shyam Bahadur Shahi on August 12. Shahi was killed by slitting throat and his dead body was found in a bush in Dhuldhunga of Bandipur Rural Municipality-4. Shahi, who used to run a small business in Dumre, was missing since August 11. Shahi was very found of gold and wore many gold ornaments on his body, locals said. "He always had 4/5 tola of gold and 40/50 thousand rupees on him; he might have been killed for those valuables", said one of the locals.
