Bomb detonates near the program the Chief Minister attended

On August 14, a bomb targetting Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, the chief of Karnali Province, has been detonated a kilometer away from the event spot in Pachaljharana Rural Municipality-3. Khadkraj Sejuwal, the chairperson of the rural municipality, surmised the Communist Party of Nepal(CPN) led by Chand behind the detonation of the bomb. The detonation has not caused any damage. Police are further investigating the incident.
