Chitwan, Aacharsanhita michdaii UCPN-M ko sabha. Chitwan/November 9, UCPN-M has held election assembly in road and public places in Chitwan against the election code of conduct on November 9. The UCPN-M which is conducting a nationwide election campaign "Mechi-Mahakali Jagaran" held a program in Tandi bazaar of Ratnanagar, Khairahani Parsa bazaar and in front of the central bus terminal obstructing vehicular movement. Point 26 of paragraph 26 of CA member election code of conduct 2013 prohibits holding of election program obstructing vehicular movement. Though less vehicles were operating in the district due to the bandh called by CPN-M to affect the arrival of UCPN-M chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the assemblies obstructed movement for upto 2 hours. A dozen jeep, cars and vehicles boarded by UCPN-M leaders had brought the vehicular movement to a complete halt. The Election office has not shown concern on the incidents of violation of election code of conduct.
