Biplov cadres smear the soot on ward chairperson of Beni

The cadres of outlawed Nepal Communist Party(NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand smeared the soot and made Hira Bahadur Thapa, the ward chairperson of Beni Municipality-2, wear the wreath of slippers on August 15. They left a pamphlet explaining eight reasons explaining the rationale for the maltreatment, said DSP Mahendra Prasad Marasaini. Thapa has been accused of misappropriating the ward's budget, committing financial irregularities in the office and being involved in corruption.
