A complaint was registered at District Police Office Gulmi on August 25 against a 41-year-old man from Chhatrakot rural municipality-2 on the charge of sexually abusing his  12-year-old daughter.

According to SP Dip Kumar Basnet of DPO Gulmi, the complaint was registered against the accused for sexually abusing his daughter on August 23. The victim had attempted to commit suicide following the incident. She underwent a medical examination at Palpa. Police are investigating the incident by holding the accused into custody.
