Staffs of Aathrai Primary Health Center padlocked the health center on August 26 as a protest against physical assault on health assistant of the center Roshan Kumar Nayak.
Aathrai local Dipesh Thapaliya had assaulted Nayak on August 25 at the health center. Service seekers were affected after the health center staffs halted all health services by padlocking the center demanding action against Thapaliya.
Chairperson of Aathrai rural municipality Bishnu Bikram Subba said they were preparing to start service at the health center by coordinating with the agitated health workers. Meanwhile, police are looking for Thapaliya who went on the run following the incident.
