CA member, Bir Bahadur Tamang (Champa Singh), also the district secretariat member of UCPN-M has been threatened to be assaulted and killed by an unidentified group on January 28 evening.

A statement published by UCPN-M Dhading and signed by secretary Bikas on January 29 informed that a group of about 12 armed people tried to attack him as he was returning from the assembly of Gautam Budhha Agriculture Cooperative Semjong.

The statement has demanded action against those threatening the CA members and has also warned that the party would take action against such people on its own if the police failed to take proper action. <
