Police arrested 40-year-old Kumari Budhathoki and 31-year-old Dinesh Darji of Kankai municipality-2 on the charge of slapping a 22-year-old woman from the same place with a hot spatula saying she had witch in her, informed Area Police Office Anarmani.

DSP Mohan Thapa of APO Anarmani said, " The victim was suffering from fever. The two women tortured her saying they would cure her. It appears they also tortured her over a grudge."

Darji had slapped the victim on her face and hand with hot spatula on September 5 at 10:45 pm at night. Thapa said, police arrested both women after the victim lodged a complaint against them.
