A demonstration was staged at Hetauda demanding withdrawal of the Guthi bill. Youth belonging to different castes of Makwanpur protested against Guthi bill. The rally which was started from Seemachowk take a round of market and convert into a corner assembly at Seemachowk.
The youths speaking at the assembly demanded to withdraw Guthi Bill, stating that Guthi is identity, culture, and religion and they warned that protests against the government would continue till the bill is repealed.
Bikeshlal Shrestha said, "We all need to be united against this wrong decision of the government".
Youth Sangeet Shrestha said that the Nepali people were dissatisfied with the Guthi Bill, saying that the government was trying to destroy Nepal's religious culture.
Another youth, Niraj Shrestha, expressed his views in the assembly, warning the protests programs would continue till the Guthi Bill is withdrawn.
