65-year-old Rambaran Sharma of Mithila Bihari municipality-9 has been murdered with a sharp weapon on the evening of September 8. Two unidentified people stabbed him with a knife in the neck, while he was returning home after buying vegetables in Tarapatti bazar at quarter past eight. The perpetrators absconded after attacking Sharma in Katchuri stretch of road, police said quoting the spectators.
A team from Dhanusa police gathered the necessary details of the crime scene and sent the body for examination to Janakpur zonal hospital. Police are investigating the cause and perpetrators behind the incident.
