Man arrested for assaulting three in Jhapa

Police, on September 11, arrested 40-year-old Dhan Bahadur Rai of Kankai municipality-2, Dhanushakoti in charge of assaulting three people including 32-year-old Dhambar Bahadur Rai of the same place. Dhan Bahadur had assaulted them with a knife when they were surveilling the area on suspicion of smuggling of wood. Police had arrested Dhan Bahadur along with around 12 cubic feet wood. The injured are being treated in B & C hospital in Birtamod. Police are further investigating the incident.
