Police have recovered a dead body of roughly 17-year-old son of Raj Kishor Baitha from a paddy field in Ekdara rural municipality-2. The villagers had reported the incident after a group of women saw the dead body at around 9 am. The evidence suggests that the boy was killed by squeezing the neck.
Some people, on the night of 13th September, had invited Baitha by phone to observe the ongoing daha mela. He had not returned home since then.
Police collected the required evidence and sent the dead body to Jaleshowr district hospital for autopsy, said DSP Shyam Krishna Adhikari.
