22-year-old Sunil Kumar Adhikari of Janakpurdham Sub-metropolitan city-9 sustained serious injuries in knife attack by his friends, Adhikari's family accused.
Police said Adhikari was attacked with knife during a dispute by his close friends on June 26 at 1:00 am.
Adhikari, who went unconscious from the attack, was taken to Janakpur Zonal Hospital for treatment but he was referred to BP Koirala Health Sciences Academy in Dharan, according to family source.
According to police spokesman Rameshwor Karki of the District Police Office, Dhanusha, police arrested one of the accused assailant, Rajib Jha, on the basis of a complaint lodged by the family. Police are meanwhile, looking for five others who currently remain on the run.
