A 25-year-old victim of human trafficking, on 26th September, filed a complaint against 28-year-old Suresh Baitha of Ekdanra rural municipality-4. Suresh had trafficked the victim to India promising to marry her.  Only when Suresh abandoned her in a home in Sitamadi town of Bihar that she realized that she was sold there.  Baitha eloped with fifty thousand rupees and a few pieces of jewelry of the victim.  The victim managed to return to Nepal after twenty-five days.
