A conflict broke out, on 28th September, between Chinese Lamas and the members of Baudha Ghyang Guthi, when the latter tried to intervene in the religious ceremony( candle-light and forgiveness) organized by the former.  

The interveners verbally protested the religious proceedings even when the police arrived at the site.  The ceremony went on, after a short recess, under the protection of the police, said the Bauddha police.
