A woman having mental disability has been found murdered viciously in Mahottari on  October 3. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Sharmila Singh Danuwar of Gaushala municipality-10 Thapatol. Her body was found at a field near a river east of the village on Thursday. Police suspects that the woman was murdered after rape. The mouth of the deceased was tied up and there were bruises in various parts of the deceased body.

Police suspect the victim's body was disposed at the site after torturing and murdering her somewhere else. Police are further investigating the incident.
