Police arrests teenager on the charge of killing father in Kabhre

Police have arrested a teenager from Kabhrepalanchok on the charge of murder of his father. The arrested has been identified as 18-year-old Bijay Tamang, son of Tek Bahadur Tamang of Namobuddha municipality-2. Bijay reportedly killed his father by striking him with a pick during a dispute between them on Friday night around 11:00pm.
Tek Bahadur who sustained serious injury in his son's attack died while undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel hospital on Saturday morning, informed sub-inspector Ashok Mehta of Bhakunde police post.
Police arrested Bijay on Friday night while he was attempting to run away after the incident.
