Purna Bahadur KC aka Darsing Kanchha, a ward member of Bhirakot Municipality-4, has assaulted a policeman, said Koshhari Niraula,  the chief of Syangja district administration office. The policeman was on the beat when the ward member attacked him with the helmet of the motorcycle. The mobile phone(the radio set) broke because of the attack on the policeman. 

Police have arrested K.C. after the incident.

Dahathum police, during their patrol at 8 am, had informed the locals to keep the vehicles parked at the roadside. In that procession,  a local Suresh Khand KC physically assaulted a motorcyclist. The police tried to intervene in the situation, during which the K.C. beat the policeman with the helmet.  

K.C. is the elected representative of the Nepali Congress. Suresh Khand, who is alleged to be involved in the beating, is absconding.
