One shot dead in Rautahat

2019-10-13

An unidentified group shot dead a 22-year-old youth on the way between Khap Ghiara and Jaynagar at Ishnath Municipality-4 in Rautahat on October 13. The deceased youth's identity has not yet been established, police said.

Three people who came on a motorbike from across the India-Nepal border, which is 2 meters away from the incident spot, shot the youth. According to the eyewitnesses, they shot the gun after a row for some time.

Police have said that the body of the deceased is being taken to District Hospital for postmortem. Police have launched a further investigation into the incident.
