Ramechhap, UCPN-M karyakarta dwara chunab paryabekshyak kutiye. Ramechhap/ November 17, Election observer of National Election Observer Committee, Tanka Gautam, 32, of Lakhanpur VDC-1 has been beaten by the cadres of UCPN-M at Rajamantar of Tokarpur VDC-9 on November 16. The victim was attacked by Hira Shrestha, Mitra Shrestha and Lok Bahadur Shrestha while he was going to Lakhanpur from Manthali for election observation. He was asked by the cadres to help UCPN-M in the election but when he refused to do so, they attacked him. They further threatened him not to make the incident public.
