Ward police office, Sripur arrested Ajay Kumar Kushwaha, Umesh Mandal, Suresh Yadav of Birgunj-32 on the charge of robbery and beating Birendra Ram of Birgunj- 32 on Wednesday Night. Police Inspector, Chakra Mall said, Munni Lal and Johnny Mahato are absconding.

According to the incident details, Birendra Ram, a resident of Konhiya, Birgunj-32, was robbed on the way from Jeetpur Dal mill to Konhiya on the way to his house. He was robbed attacking with sharp weapons by 4-5 persons.  Police arrested them on the basis of the complaint filed by Ram.

The injured is being treated at Narayani Hospital. He appeared to have injuries in three areas of his body. Prani Malla informed that further investigation will be done after the medical report arrives. According to local youth Shambhu Patel, the incidents of theft and robbery are increasing in the area. Police have so far arrested only three people and said they were searching for others.
