Ram Kishor Sah, the ward chairperson of Bardibas municipality-12, on 15th October,  has physically assaulted a 23-year-old Sunil Kumar Mahato, who had gone to the ward office to register a complaint of theft. 

A year ago, Mahato had clicked the picture of the ward chairperson sleeping in his desk, which became viral. The viral picture was published in the Annapurna Post. The ward chairperson took revenge on Sunil through physical assault. 

Mahato had filed a complaint of theft some two weeks ago. He was called into the ward office on 15th October to discuss the complaint. " The ward chairperson scolded me. He said he was looking for me as I was the one who made his picture public.  I fainted after the ward chairperson and his brother beat me," said Mahato. He had sustained injuries in the head and legs. He has returned to his home after primary medical treatment at Better Nepal Hospital in Bardibas.
