Elderly man arrested for sharp weapon attack

Police have arrested an elderly man on the charge of sharp weapon assault on his son in Khotang. The arrested has been identified as Jaman Singh Rai of Jantedhunga rural municipality-2 Dumribot.
Jaman Singh's son, 40-year-old Ganesh rai sustained serious injury when his father attacked him with a khukuri during a dispute between the two. Police from Devisthan police post arrested the elderly man following the incident. The injured meanwhile, has been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for treatment.
