Myagdi/ November 18 The CPN-M which is leading the poll-opposing alliance has detonated a bomb near the district headquarters Benibazzar on November 17 at around 10 pm. The District Police Office said that the bomb went off in the jungle of Khawara. Police said that the explosive device might have been a cylinder bomb. No human casualties occurred in the explosion. Similarly, police have found a suspicious object at Rastriya Secondary school of Ghatan VDC and Deepak Secondary school at Nepte Chaur. The CPN-M planted a suspicious object in a bridge over Bhaibang river along the Babiyachaur section Babiya Chaur of Beni-Daraba road. The suspicious objects found in polling centers in the district have been defused by Nepal Army. The CPN-M hurled stones at the roof of Mahendra Secondary School. The election officers were staying in the school. Police have confirmed that CPN-M planted the bomb at Janakalyan Secondary school.
