A 32-year-old Satram Tharu of Thakurbaba Municipality-8 died while undergoing treatment in Lucknow. A group of youths had thrashed four people including Satram on the night of Bhaitika. The group of youths was searching for an autorickshaw driver with whom they had a dispute over fare for the rickshaw when they got into a fight despite the requests not to do so, said Rajeshnath Bastola, SP of Nepal Police.
Police arrested eight people including Santa Rokaya and Devi Rokaya involved in the assault. Police have launched a manhunt to nab the other absconding perpetrator.
