30-year-old Chandan Rana of Birendranagar Municipality-10 who had sustained serious injury in a sharp weapon attack on October 29 has died during the course of treatment at Lakhnau in India according to spokesperson of District Police Office DSP Surkhet Rabi Rawal.
29-year-old Nirmal Soni, 19-year-old Keshav Khanal, and 22-year-old Prem Gurung had attacked Rana with sharp weapon on his head on October 29. Police have arrested Khanal and Gurung and are looking for Soni who is on the run.
