A dead body of a man was found in Suwarnapur Rural Municipality-1, Bagahi. 

The body of a young man, who looks like a22-year-old, was found on Monday near a canal at Bagahi. A serious injury was seen in his head.

Locals claim that he was shot to death. The body is not identified, said Rajit Singh Rathore, DSP of District Police Office, Bara. The locals reported the incident to the police at around 6 am when they saw the body by the canal.

The body was brought to the District Hospital, Kalia for postmortem. Seeing the deep wound in his head, it was assumed that the deceased was shot to death.  

Further investigation of the incident is going on, said the police. We would only be able to tell if the deceased was shot in the head after the post-mortem report, said the police.
