Rally was organized against the vandalism of the buddha statue in the municipality of Tillotama, Rupandehi on Thursday.
The Non-Violent Buddhism World Peacekeepers Association Chitwan, Buddhist Gumbavihar Association, Nepal Tamang Ghedung Chitwan, Buddhism Service Committee have organized the rally.
They submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli through Chief District Officer Jitendra Basnet and demanded action against those who break the statue.
On July 17 five buddha statue at Shankarnagar Chowk of Tilotama Municipality was vandalized on the night time.
