Police arrested 39-year-old Sapana Prajapati of Ratnagar Municipality-2 in Chitawan on November 8 on the charge of attempting to traffick four women into India.  The four women were 25-year-old from Sunkoshi Municipality, 25-year-old from Chandragiri Municipality, 28-year-old from Nuwakot District and 22-year-old from Makwanpur District.  The girls were rescued, while they were being trafficked into India through Trinagar of Dhangadi, with the help of India's Service Selection Board(SSB). 

The rescued women are kept at Shanti Rehabilitation Home until they are handed over to their relatives, said Parbati Chaudhari,  the Monitor of the House. A case of human trafficking has been registered against the arrested Dakchya Kumar Basnet, the DSP of District Police Office.
