UML candidate from Sunsari constitutency-3 Bhagwati Chaudhary has filed a complaint against MJF-Loktantrik Chairperson Bijay Kumar Gachhadar, who was elected to the Constituent Assembly from the same constituency. Chaudhary moved the Constituent Assembly (CA) court in Kathmandu on December 4 accusing him of vote rigging. She accused Gachhadar of invalidating 2800 votes cast for UML by using duplicate swastika stamp. She has demanded to investigate the case and declare her winner. Gachhadar had garnered 17,524 votes defeating Chaudhary by 362 votes. According to the District Election Office, 3852 invalid votes were cast in the constituency.
